We had a relatable conversation but I could tell she did not want to be here by her tone and the way she was giving me short answers. also she was frowning when I was waiting on the exit stairs. she is from out of state, Omaha, Nebraska and she says the transition has been pretty good. She is a political science major. She wants to go to law school and so do I. She also wanted to know about the big little experience and said that she was very interested in it. I had to guide the conversation the entire way and she was kind of just giving me nothing but she seems like she could be a nice girl. She just probably wants to go another house. she said that she had a very tight group of friends in high school and that is why she wants to go through recruitment and find her group here. I gave her some recruitment advice to make sure that you’re being genuine. I think she should talk to Berkeley (out of state/south)

MY FREAKING BADDIE I LOVE HER. literally can’t stop smiling about this girl. \We talked about how we both played like so many sports growing up and how much that influenced our lives we talked about how we’re both tall we talked about how we’re both the youngest of a lot of siblings we talked about we love thinking about our younger selves and how much we’ve changed we talked about running and hokas and I don’t even know what else but I love her and her sister and best friend are both geephs. She should talk to Berkeley because they would vibe so well together or like Mya Redenius please I need a good impact match for this girl or let me recruit her again I’m begging you

Our conversation was very smooth. She has been excited to join a sorority because she grew up doing cheer and really values having a close knit group of girlfriends who support each other. She is very close with her mom- like tells her everything- which we bonded over, but her mom wasn’t the one to suggest joining a sorority. Her aunt was the person to point out the opportunities in Greek life here at ucsb, which is when she decided she was going to do recruitment. She also sang in choir growing up, so we talked about how music is a huge part of our lives. She used to take piano lessons but always wished she could do voice lessons as well. Her favorite artists are Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpentar, Tate McCrae, and Olivia Rodrigo. I don’t think that we had much of a connection, but I could definitely see her getting along with other members of Gamma Phi.

She goes by Evie, is a first year living on campus. She is a psych major and is really missing her family. She is rly outgoing and had awesome piercings that we talked about. She is involved in a lot of clubs in high school like nhs and key club. I think she should talk to Cassie because they both have lit nose piercings. I gave her a 3 because i don’t think she particularly liked me and the convo was a bit awkward but i think that might just be me
