This national certification is the Food Safety gold standard. It involves up to 16 hours of training and a 90 question exam.

NOTE: This school year the management team will complete ServSafe Training and take the test! Cheers to great grades for everyone.

NOTE: Adding acid, herbs, spices, and aromatic vegetables adds flavor without increasing sodium.

Even though five (5) components are planned, this allows students take only three (3) of the five (5). The three are 1/2 cup of a fruit or vegetable + any other two (2) full sized components.

What is Offer vs Serve?


NOTE: After the 1/2 cup of a fruit or vegetable is taken any other produce needs to be the FULL menu portion to count. This is important at the HS.
