What does sanctified mean?
Sanctified: set apart or made holy
Say Romans 6:23 and explain what we deserve for our sin.
Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
We deserve death for our sin.
Why was scripture written?
It was written for our instruction/learning/teaching. (Romans 15:4)
What is worthless if Jesus didn't rise from the dead?

What was the purpose of the law?
It was our guardian to lead us to Christ. (Galatians 3:24-25
What is the purpose of life?
To glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
What does the word grace mean?
Grace: giving someone something good that he or she doesn't deserve.
What is the most important commandment? (prove it!)
To love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.
What did Jesus say to His disciples in Mark 16:15.
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation."
What is our spiritual worship? (Romans 12:1-2)
To present/offer our bodies as a living sacrifice.
Define the word 'gospel' and describe it.
Gospel means "good news" and is the news that Jesus rose from the grave and conquered death so we also can have eternal life.
What does hope mean in the Bible?
Hebrews 4:12 says that the word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword. Explain the two edges.
1st edge: convicts us of sin.
2nd edge: defends us from spiritual attack.
Why did Jesus have to die?
Our sin deserves death. Jesus, who was God, loved us so much that took that punishment for us and died so that we can have eternal life with Him.
What are the encouraging words Moses spoke to Joshua when Joshua was becoming the leader of the Israelites?
