Facts about Mr. Hutchins
100

this term is used in determining whether an object  will accelerate, decelerate, or remain at rest

Net force

100

This term is used to describe Animals that once were but are no longer living on the planet.

Extinct

100

This non contact force  imbalance occurs when two objects rub together, causing electrons to transfer from one object to the other, resulting in one object becoming negatively charged and the other becoming positively charged.

Static Electricity

Thinking of Physical properties, which physical properties would be the easiest to change in an object.

It's the reason objects fall down, planets orbit stars, and galaxies hold together.

Compare the strength and direction of two balanced forces on an object and two unbalanced forces on an

object.

The forces acting on an object are balanced if they have equal strengths and act in opposite

directions. The opposing forces prevent each other from causing changes to the object's

motion. Unbalanced forces are those with unequal strengths and/or forces that do not act in

opposite directions. This allows a change in the object's motion to occur.

Describe an example of forces on an object changing from balanced to unbalanced. What happens to the object?

The forces acting on an object change from balanced to unbalanced when, for example, the

object was at rest but then starts moving: The forces on a ball resting on the floor (gravity

pulling down and the floor pushing up) are balanced, but then, if the ball is also pushed one

side with no balancing force on the other, all forces on the ball will no longer be balanced; it will

start to roll.
