The word that a pronoun refers to and replaces in a sentence.
EX: MY BROTHER tied his shoes himself.
What is a simple sentence?
Contains a subject and a verb and a complete idea.
EX: She walked.
What is a Gerund?
A verb that turns into a noun.
EX: Running made her feel better.
What is an Adverb?
a word that modifies or describes the quality of a verb, adjective, or another adverb.
What is a subjective Pronoun?
Pronouns that take the place of a subject.
EX: I, YOU, HE, SHE, IT, WE, THEY, WHAT, WHO
