This individual was an American graphic designer and Academy Award-winning filmmaker, but is best known for his design on motion picture title sequences, and designed them for films such as Goodfellas, Doc Hollywood, Cape Fear and The Age of Innocence. He was also responsible for some of the best-remembered, most iconic logos in North America, including both the Bell Telephone logo (1969) and AT&T globe (1983). Other well-known designs were Continental Airlines (1968), Dixie (1969) and United Way (1972). He is:
