A family has an issue with another family in CC.  Who do they call?

They need to resolve it with the other family.  If it is not a CC related issue, they should not "bring it" to CC.

If it is a CC related issue, and they are not able to resolve it, then they should meet together with the director.

What is Matthew 18?

1.) Go directly to the person with whom you have conflict and discuss the situation in person and alone. Ask for forgiveness.

2.)If the conflict is not resolved after the first meeting, make your Team Leader aware of the incident, document the incident, and set up a time for a mediation meeting/call with the parties involved.

How many Essentials classes can a community have? How are the classes divided?

Communities may have one to three Essentials

classes with no more than sixteen per class. Students are divided according to the Essentials of the English Language (EEL) experience of the parent. Children and parents from the same family should be kept together in the same class. The parent experience is the factor to consider when dividing it out.

Don't respond on social media sharing the differences.  Do ask your Support Representative for clarification on what we are doing, why, and where it is listed in our SOP.  You know that in the Great Lakes Region we strive for the highest integrity and want to do things the CC way.

T/F CC does not give refunds.

While it is stated that tuition and application are nonrefundable, we are able to refund monies when the following conditions are met: (1) it is prior to the academic year start; (2) there is a legitimate reason for withdrawal such as a move. Consult your Team Leader if you feel you have a legitimate reason for refunding money.

Dropping:  All application, supply, and facility fees are nonrefundable. If a student drops in the middle of the semester, no refund is given for the remainder of the semester. The application form states that the fees are nonrefundable. A Licensed Director may, however, choose to provide a proportionate refund of her or his percentage of the supply and facility fees.

What is the max number of F/E students?

48 is considered "full" but 64 is allowed for families that transfer in mid-year, etc.  We don't start with 64 in communities.
