Hades said it was quite simple, you just wrap them around your wrist like this, and before he realized what he had done, Hades had chained himself in place. Zeus then escaped Tartarus. But not for long.

He had to roll a giant boulder to the top of a hill. Sisyphus pushed as hard as he could, but the rock barely moved. Inch by inch it would he would get it closer to the top, but then it would roll back down. This happened every time. Sisyphus was doomed to repeat his frustrating, difficult, and pointless task forever.
