Horrifyingly ugly monsters who lived at the edge of the world. Their hair was made of serpents, and one look from their eyes would turn a man to stone.
Medusa and the Gorgons
The Greek's best warrior in the Trojan War and famous for his heel.
Achilles
His wings melted when he flew too close to the sun.
Icarus
The son of Zeus and Hera, god of fire and forge, and the husband of Aphrodite.
Hephaestus
The goddess of hearth and home and Hera's sister.
Hestia
Giant, winged creatures with the heads of women. They lived on rocks on the sea, where their beautiful singing lured sailors to shipwreck.
The Sirens
The wily hero of the Greeks who came up with the idea for the Trojan Horse.
Odysseus
He brought fire to the people of Greece by breaking off a piece of the sun. (Or possibly stealing a piece of coal from Hestia's hearth). Because of that he got chained to a mountain with an eagle that ate his regenerating liver every day.
