Blue and Green
Griff's first baseball game was in 1997, featuring future Hall Of Famers like Mike Mussina, Frank Thomas, and this former Oriole who played shortstop and third base.
Cal Ripkin Jr.
Playing the youngest brother Michael in this play about flying and youth helped Griff come out of his shell, becoming the friendly, outgoing guy we all love. The play's author, J.M. Barrie, published the now-famous novel adaptation of this play in 1911, 7 years after it deputed in 1904 on the London stage.
Peter Pan
In school growing up, teachers would often confiscate this accessory which Griff would always attempt to wear to class despite the rules.
His hat
Griff's family has two incredibly sweet dogs. One shares a name with the nickname of a president found on Mount Rushmore, and the other shares a name with a character from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and a character from Smiling Friends. Name both, in the form of a question.
Teddy and Charlie
This movie trilogy, which appears on the list below, is the trilogy Griff considers to be the best of all time. Its extended edition runs 11 hours and 46 mins.
Lord of the Rings
Griff played lacrosse growing up and was particularly adept at scooping groundballs while playing these TWO positions (name both). They are usually restricted to playing on opposite sides of the field from one another.
Attack and Defense
Growing up with a name like Griff allows for some pretty cool nicknames, like Gryffindor. However, despite Griff's best efforts, this form of art/vandalism never stuck as a common nickname for him.
Griff-iti
Griff once sold raffle tickets at an event to auction this prize to the raffle winner. The winner ended up being his father (definitely no corruption involved), who took it home and set it up in their living room. It is likely cheaper today than it was back then.
A TV
The Senator
No looking in the cupboard! This cracker is Griff's favorite snack. It was acquired by Keebler in 1996, which was bought by Kellogg's in 2001. However, the brand was recently spun off and sold to Mars in 2024.
Cheez-Its
In this year, Griff's high school lacrosse team won their state championship and was rated #1 nationally. The blockbuster film of that year was Guardians of the Galaxy, and it was also the year that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared over the Indian Ocean.
2014
Griff has graced all of the educational institutions below with his presence as a student, except this one. There is ongoing debate over whether its founder owned slaves, contrasting with their stated anti-slavery views during their lifetime.
Johns Hopkins University
Griff broke his right arm in an apparent act of divine punishment after he accidentally tore a page in this holy book while browsing it on its reading pedestal, the bimah.

Griff loves going to DC for a variety of events, but especially concerts. As part of his routine, he loves going to this iconic eatery on U Street before a show at the 9:30 club.

Griff's first declared college major was journalism. However, he changed his major in response to this sports scandal, which broke on TMZ Sports in 2014.

The women listed below were all at one point Griff's celebrity crush, except this one. She is an uncredited background bikini dancer in 2003's "Bad Boys 2," played herself in 2012's "The Dictator," and voices Toy Chica in 2025's "Five Nights at Freddy's 2."
Megan Fox
Griff's most embarrassing moment was vacuuming his keys at the gas station vacuum while driving this brand of car, forcing an awkward conversation with the technician. This automaker was the world's ninth largest producer of motor vehicles in 2023.
BMW
Griff recently ran into this Talking Heads front man while walking around our neighborhood! This musician is also famous for wearing a gray suit in the 1984 concert film "Stop Making Sense" and for his 2018 album "American Utopia" touring on Broadway.
