Drug Screen
This is what I am expected to do when submitting my UDS through the digital platform, for my UDS to be excepted by Groups!
To collect the point Members must answer at least 2 of the three 3 answers
1.Write my Name and Date on the side of the cup,
2. Photos must be readable, check before you send.
3. All UDS must be sent prior to Group each week.
To have an excused absence I must do this .
1. contact the office and report the reasons you need to miss your group.
2. provide documentation for missed group with in 24 hours.
The act of altering a drug screen in anyway, or selling trading or consuming the medication in anyway other than what is ordered by the prescriber.
What Is Diversion
This person is responsible for updating Member information, like any new phone numbers, change of address or insurance information , rescheduling or ROI updates.

I was informed by my Counselor that I need to attend ___ minutes of my group for it to count.
What is 50-55 minutes
If the digital platform is is not running correctly, I know I can send my UDS to this number and Jordan will get it!

Group has implemented a Positive attendance policy, which means if I miss my regular scheduled group or do not send in a UDS in prior to group, This will happen!
Nothing! However, if the days begin to add up and you exceed < 50% attendance , you will lose virtual status and be given the opportunity to attend in office.
If this does not work for you, I can send a referral for another MAT facility.
This is completed at home, with-in 30 minutes after group. However, we will not be doing these but maybe once or twice a year moving forward.
What is a Virtual Pill Count
This will happen if I do not submit a UDS sample on Provider Day.
My prescription will not be released, until I am able to provide a legible UDS sample with name and Date on the side.
To stay in virtual compliance , I know I need to at least do these Four things?
1. Send UDS prior to group session each week!
2. Attend my regular scheduled group each week
3. Participate in discussions
4. Have an up to dated / or current Care Plan
If I have a UDS which shows positive for a substance and you have not used anything, my options are ...
1. Rescreen -as you may have a faulty test
2. If it shows on second UDS, call the counselor
If I was called in for an in office Pill Count , I know I have 24 hours to come into the office to complete it. What are my options if I feel I can not make it on time?
1. Communicate with Office , we can work with you on pushing back the time a little.
No call and no show will result in a failed Pill Count and potential discharge.
This is to be completed with-in 24 hours after the request was sent and must be done in-office.
What is an In-Office Pill Count
When sitting in the virtual setting each week for an hour, I know I must sit in front of the camera and focused without distractions.
This will happen if I am distracted, not participating, or do not respond when prompted too.
Removal from group and member will need to complete a makeup group.
If I drop below ____ % attendance over the course of 3 months I will lose virtual status and will need to attend In office groups! Or discharged and referred to a 30 day provider.
What is 50
Altering a UDS in anyway is considered this!
Diversion- Groups has a zero tolerance for diversion.
Somehow your Pharmacy or You has pushed back your prescription pickup day between 2 pm on Fridays though Sunday. Who do you would you call ?

Note it is your responsibility to pick up your prescription on the day it is written, I you get off track with your prescription and end up picking up on the weekend , that's on you and you may have to wait until the next business day to address.
A Discharged will happen if it is discovered I did this during my Pill Count.
1. What will happen if I divert my medication or UDS sample.
2. I do not show for the pill count!
3. You lie to your Counselor!
I will not be able to attend my groups if I am doing this , as I will be at risk for being removed from the virtual setting.
What is driving, working, camera pointed towards the ceiling, watching TV, Not responding to questions, ... ETC.
Alt answer: around people without earbuds .
Doing anything that takes focus anyway from the Group!
The number of times I can miss my scheduled group before I am discharged from treatment.
What is 3 times in a month
or < 50% attendance over the course of three months.
If my UDS shows positive for substances or negative for BUP, I may be called in for a confirmation screening in the office. This will happen if I do not come in for the confirmation screening.
1. The UDS stays the same and is recorded .
2. You may be subject to a pill count in the near future.
When Treating Opioid Use Disorder using Medication Assisted Treatment MAT, Treatment should have this " Three words" as opposed to Pain Management which treatment may be much longer.
What is a "Beginning, Middle and End"
This means if a person is here for Pain management, you are in the wrong treatment facility! We only treat OUD!
Q- Where will you be when your treatment ends?
A- Same place seeking pain medication!
These are the things I expect to do when I come in for an in office Pill Count .
1. Bring my pill bottle given to me by pharmacy with remaining medication.
2. I must provided a Drug Screen after my medication is counted.
3. Do not divert!
My Counselor expects me to do this every week I attend group.
What is taking one thing , something , anything away from group , that I can add to my life or Recovery.
This phrase is used when I am able to provide documentation from work or a hospital for a missed group.
