Jayson's comments...

I have made this Jeopardy so that you can use it like a Matching Game.  This way, you will remember more symbols of signing.  I'm hoping that you better understand the culture that your Deaf classmate is coming from and show them you care about them by trying to sign or communicate.

Jayson's Insight on deafness.

I can see how the two views can conflict.  I've seen elderly that are becoming hard of hearing and they have lived life with words and sound.  A true "D" has not gotten to experience life in the way that we have.  They have lived a totally different live, in silence.  They create their culture in a special way that only the "D" can fully enjoy life and understand.

Jayson's comments...

Please "welcome" our new classmate and let them know that race, culture, age, etc. do not matter.  We accept all people and want to be their friend and help them to learn with us.
