  • Throw-In:

    • When the ball completely crosses the touchline (sideline), it is restarted with a throw-in by the opposing team. The player must use both hands to throw the ball from behind their head while keeping both feet on the ground.
  • Goal Kick:

    • If the ball goes out of bounds over the goal line and was last touched by an attacking player (i.e., the attacking team), a goal kick is awarded to the defending team. The kick is taken from within the goal area.
  • Corner Kick:

    • If the ball goes out of bounds over the goal line and was last touched by a defending player, a corner kick is awarded to the attacking team. The corner kick is taken from the corner arc nearest to where the ball went out.
  • Goalkeeper's Ball:

    • If the ball is out of play due to the goalkeeper catching it or if it goes out of bounds from a play initiated by the goalkeeper, the restart follows the same rules: a goal kick or a throw-in as appropriate.
