A transfer of energy between plants and animals
What is a producer in a food chain.
A plant that produces energy from sunlight. It produces energy for everything else in the food group

An animal that must eat other plants and animals for energy.
What is a decomposer?
A decomposer is something like bacteria, fungi or maggots that break down plants and animals when they die so they can grow back into the soil.
