"... the more pity that great folk should have count'nance int his world to drown or hang themselves more than their even Christian. Come, my spade. There is no ancient gentlemen but gardeners, ditchers, and gravemakers; they hold up Adam's profession" (5.1.25-29).
Who is the first clown/gravedigger? There are two gravediggers that are preparing the grave for Ophelia's body. They are arguing over whether Ophelia deserves to be buried in the sanctified graveyard. Here he is arguing that the only reason she is allowed to is because she had money. He goes on to argue that his job is closer to Adam's and that makes him more of a gentleman.

"O, my offence is rank! It smells to heaven. It hath the primal eldest curse upon't, A brother's murder. Pray can I not. Though inclination be as sharp as will, My stronger guilt defeats my strong intent..."(3.3.35-40).
Who is Claudius? This is after the play had occurred, and he is wanting to pray and gain forgiveness for his sins. Unfortunately, he is not able to pray because he is unwilling to give up his crown, wife, etc. that he gained from his sin of killing King Hamlet. This is the one time we see that Claudius does feel awful for his act... at least a bit.

Ophelia lost her mind after her father died. Consequently, it is stated that she was sitting on a branch that broke, she dropped into the brook, and eventually drowned due to lack of care to save herself.
True. At least it is strongly believed by the characters that she committed suicide. One may argue otherwise.

Who is Fortinbras?
400
The countrymen might not care that Hamlet killed Polonius. They only care about his looks and have some silly love for him. They might have allowed this love for him turned to blame for me. This is the reason that I did not...
What is the reason that Claudius did not put Hamlet on trial for murdering Polonius? (And made the death and burial a secret...) Claudius also claims the love of the queen for Hamlet and his love for the queen.

“And let me speak to th’ yet unknowing world How these things came about. So shall you hear Of carnal, bloody, and unnatural acts, Of accidental judgments, casual slaughters, Of deaths put on by cunning and forced cause, And, in this upshot, purposes mistook Fall’n on th’ inventors’ heads. All this can I Truly deliver” (5.2.421-428).
Who is Horatio? This is after Hamlet, the King and Queen, and Laertes have been slain. Hamlet stopped Horatio from killing himself and instead asked Horatio to tell his story. Horatio is here talking to Fortinbras about to keep his word to Hamlet and tell the true story.

The play opens up with watchmen on a ghost hunt. The watchmen are uneasy, tension fills the players and audience because there have been war preparations, signs from the sky of things bad to come, and now a ghost.
True. As there had been in Rome: "stars with trains of fire, dews of blood, disasters in the sun, and the moist star, tenantless graves, talking dead...", there is now in Denmark.

“How all occasions do inform against me And spur my dull revenge. What is a man If his chief good and market of his time Be but to sleep and feed? A beast, no more. Sure He that made us with such large discourse, Looking before and after, gave us not That capability and godlike reason To fust in us unused” (4.4.34-41). “... Rightly to be great Is not to stir without great argument, But greatly to find quarrel in a straw When honour’s at the stake” (4.4.56-59).
Who is Hamlet? This is after Hamlet learns of Fortinbras' plan to attack Poland for a useless piece of land. Hamlet is changing. He is starting to believe that honour is not thinking through everything at great length, but fighting when honor is threatened.

Polonius tells King Claudius that Hamlet has gone mad because Hamlet is in love with Ophelia and their love has driven him insane.
False. It is the rejection of her love that Polonius believes has driven Hamlet insane. Had Ophelia continued with her love then Polonius wouldn't believe that Hamlet would be insane.
500
