Seating Policy:

Every single person in the orchestra is equally important. There is no chair or place in the orchestra that is better or more important than another. Throughout the year, students will be moved around, so that each student can become a well-rounded musician who is able to play and lead no matter where they are sitting. There are different skills associated with playing first violin and second violin as well as being in the front or back of the orchestra and sitting outside versus inside on the stand. Students will have the opportunity to sit in several different spots throughout the year and will develop all of the skills needed to be successful musician.
