Tour Types
This is a tour commitment that requires guides to be there early and help set up before giving a tour.
What is an Early Bird?
This competitive program usually comprises 4 tour guides who work throughout the summer to give tours and work in the office as well

This is the standard tour guide arrival time for the first tour of the day out of Smith Hall on a ‘Bread and Butter’ tour

What is the speaker?
This program consists of four members of the tour guide leadership team and are frequently described at the bridge between admissions staff and the tour guides.
What is the Advisory Board?
This is an opportunity to help students in various middle schools, high schools, upward bound/trio programs, and other community based organizations to bring prospective students to our campus.
What is a group visit?
This is the formal event that takes place at the end of the year including yearly awards and dinner.
What is "Tourmal".
This is the amount of time you must spend at the parking lot during pre-tour parking lot duty.

What is Smith Hall?
These are days in which students are coming back to campus to see the school before making their final college decisions.
What are ASVDs (Admitted Students Visit Days)
These 3 groups are run by other tour guides and consist of the day-to-day duties of managing the program. They each perform a vital function to ensure that there are always enough tour guides every year, that those same guides know what they're doing, and that they stay in the program.
What are the Recruitment, Training, and Retention Committees?
This is the amount of time before an ISCT that the early bird shifts start.

What are 8 tours?
This event, which originated because of the pandemic is offered infrequently, usually during after school hours. It involves one admissions staff and one tour guide. It includes a 30-minute presentation followed by a Q&A
What is a virtual information session?
This is what you earn for going to TG Socials, having friends apply to the program, getting really good reviews, being TG of the month, etc.
What is a TG Ticket?
This is the average time it takes to complete the tour.

What are 9 tours?
This volunteer program is run by admissions and is open to all UNH students. It is an opportunity for prospective students to go with UNH students to one of their classes and enjoy a meal at Holloway Commons.
