Bayou, who lives down in the lower zoo, is this type of animal. Here's a hint, even though they look very similar, he's not a crocodile.

Emma Prusch is a park that is stylized to look like this. It is a place where you can find different barnyard animals (like chickens and pigs) and it grows food.

Sounds of a bear that lived right here in Happy Hollow were used to create the voice of Chewbacca from this famous movie franchise. It also introduced us to Jedis, which use the force and fight with lightsabers.

This is San Jose's local hockey team. They are named after a predatory fish, which is a reference to the 11 different species that live in the nearby San Francisco Bay.

This jungle cat can jump 10 feet into the air and has the strongest bite force of any feline. We have two of them down in the lower zoo.

Almaden Lake Park is known for its annual firework display that they put on every year on this U.S. holiday, otherwise known as Independence Day.

San Jose was originally the state capital, before it was switched to this other Northern California city where it remains to this day.

This is the name of the local soccer team. Their colors are black, blue, red, and white and they were first established in 1994 (meaning they're as old as I am!)

This animal that lives in the upper zoo has a two foot long tongue and uses its sticky saliva to catch its favorite food. They are also my favorite animals here at Happy Hollow.

In addition to Happy Hollow and History Park, Kelley park is also the home of this tranquil location where you can see ponds filled with koi fish. It was created to honor San Jose's sister city of Okayama.
