This emergency medical person requires prerequisite training as an EMT, +150 to 250 hours of classroom and clinical work. Certification requires that they pass a cognitive and psychomotor examination. State licensure is required for employment.

Most students entering dental school have completed a four-year bachelor of science at a college or university after completing an accredited dental school training program which ranges from 3 to 4 years the graduate will receive a a doctor of dental surgery or a doctor of medical dentistry.

They are employed by ambulance, companies, emergency centers, and other industries, such as transportation and schools.
Emergency medical technician
This dental career requires a 2 year community college to a 4 year college or university program. The community college program usually includes two years of prerequisite work in addition to dental training. they are licensed by the state in which they practice after they have successfully committed and accredited program and their board exam.

Disease of the tissue situated around the tooth, i.e., the gums

Shock
This emergency medical person provides advanced life support and is skilled in all duties of the other EMS personnel. This professional is trained to administer pharmaceuticals and perform invasive procedures. They may administer approved prescription medication, start an IV, and administer blood products. They also may open airways via an Endo tracheal intubation.
Paramedic
This dental career has no educational requirements in any state and some tasks can be learned with on-the-job training. Accredited programs for this career run one to two years. Certification is available through the dental assisting national board. Some states do require licensure or registration.
