There are 13 total fire extinguishers in the building. The 11 are located in the hallways on the wall in glass door boxes. 2 others can be found clipped to the wall in the East Kitchen and Mechanical room

What should you do if you have a cold or don’t feel well?
The Church… the Church… the Church is on fire! Run for your lives!!!
… wait… what should you do if you discover a fire?
A. Raise the alarm immediately, and heroically control the fire with a fire extinguisher if possible (and if not, then proceed through the evacuation routes to the muster point).
B. Yell, “Fire!” as loud as you can so everyone can hear, and then sprint out of the building, pushing men and women, the young and the elderly aside as you flee to safety.
C. Let someone know about the fire, round up everyone you can find and point them to the fire exits, and then go through the building and check every room to ensure no one is left behind.
We don’t want anyone to go before their time…we can help by knowing where to find the AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Where is it located?

Rambo strolls into the West Foyer, and forgot he was holding his gatling gun and had an M16 hanging from each shoulder. A lady steps out of the West Auditorium, shrieks, and then rans back inside shouting, “There’s a man with a gun!”. *Sidenote, if all of these were flashing during a service something would seriously be wrong.

For an upcoming retreat, a pastor is reflecting on an illustration that might help really bring home a message on confession and forgiveness. He decides on an event during which people will be given time to write out every sin they need to confess onto clay pigeons. Each person will then take turns having their clay pigeons launched into the air and blowing them to pieces with a 12-gauge shotgun.

It is a dark and lonely Friday afternoon. The halls are silent and Simple In/Out says you are alone. You gather your things and prepare to leave this desolate wasteland. You walk around, yelling that you plan to lock up to make sure Simple In/Out isn’t lying and there isn’t someone still in the building. You turn off some hallway lights and don’t hear any water running, so you make your way back to where you started. Confident no one else is lurking, you punch in your code and leave the building, making sure the door latches behind you. What step did you miss when doing this Facility Security Procedure?

As he turns to receive the puck his overzealous father, trying to get him off the puck, checks him and Joey falls backwards onto the ground. As his dad tries pulling him to his feet, Joey is slow to get up, having trouble getting his balance and needs assistance to go sit down on the bench.

PPE (which stands for Personal Protective Equipment, but you already knew that) is important, but do you know when to use it, and what PPE we have at the church? List a few scenarios and the PPE used for them now!
You’re brave. You’re experienced. Which is why you don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t be able to use the 16-foot ladder in the storage room. In fact, you’ve done it many times. You’ve even developed a technique you like to call “Don’t Look Down.” You climb the 16-foot ladder in the storage room until you reach the painted red step.
