The room behind memory care has this purpose.

Training room. Personal belongings should not be dumped back here.

I love bird watching and filling bird feeders. I would do it all day long if I could.

If a resident needs incontinent products or trash bags, this is the process I should follow.

Go to 3rd floor storage room, sign them out on the sign out sheet for the specific resident, leave it in the slot on the door, and take to resident.

200

This is what I should do with my lunch or other personal belongings.

Personal belongings need to be kept in lockers or cabinets out of sight. Personal belongings should also not be stored in resident refrigerators.

On the flip side, anything that a family has provided to the resident whether it is food or other personal items, they need to stay in the resident apartment.

I was in a bad accident and sustained a Traumatic Brain Injury. I have trouble remembering what to do next and need guidance from the staff.

After using the lift and finishing with the resident, this task needs to be done for infection control.

The EZ Stand needs to be wiped down after each use. This is still a guideline related to infection control.

200

When a resident is lifted in the air, these are the responsibilities of both staff.

Make sure that someone has a hand on the sling, resident's legs are not hitting the lift, that resident is pulled back in the chair prior to lowering the lift.

200

This is the best way to get to know the residents.

Take time with them and get to know them. Read service plan. Ask questions.

If I have been here a year or my anniversary date is coming up, this is what will need to be done with my supervisor by that date.

My sister comes to visit me in the afternoon and feeds me nuts. I call her every evening to talk to her.

A resident needs to be able to do this in order to use the lift.

Bear weight.

300

This is what needs to happen if the Hoyer is dirty.

Sling needs to be washed. Another sling needs to be used in the interim.

When I am unsure about whether a medication should be given, or something is changing with a resident, this is what I should do.

Call the on-call nurse

400

When giving a narcotic, this is the process that needs to be followed to prevent diversion.

2 staff sign, Medication is taken to resident together

I was a LPN. Once a nurse, always a nurse. I also like to walk over to Guardian Angels for church even if it is not the best idea.

This is what needs to be done so that the lift can be used whenever needed.

Needs to be plugged in.

400

This is how I know that the resident is in the proper sling.

Sizing chart attached to the lift, not hanging over the cloth sling or completely enclosed like a hammock.

400

If I am not feeling good, and have a cold or I believe it is allergies, this is what I should do.

Rapid test, notify your supervisor before your shift.

It is very difficult to fill shifts last minute. We also don't want to leave the residents without people to take care of them.

500

This is how I record when a resident has pressed the pendant.

Put in the unscheduled visit into your Iphone, put that into the log book. It will then be verified by Anne when she does billing.

Looks better, but we need to stay consistent.

500

I have alot of memory issues. I rely on my husband to know what to do next. I like to sleep in and get up late.

It is this person's responsibility to clean the EZ Stand when a foot plate is dirty.

Everyone. If you used the stand, you need to make sure that it is ready for the next person.

500

This is how I should get the sling under the individual before the transfer.

If in the chair- ask them to lean forward and then it can be tucked behind back and pulled under legs.

If in bed- roll from side to side making sure that the lift sling supports the resident's back.

500

This item should always be on me when I go into residents rooms to make sure that I am following infection control processes.
