What is Kindness?
Being nice to someone and showing them that you care.
False! Both opinion's matter. We should make sure that everyone is being heard so that we can come up with a solution.
Can you define consent?
Consent is a clear "yes" to a question, specifically regarding one's body and personal space.
A friend does something that is wrong and dangerous and then makes you promise not to tell anyone. What should you do?
Tell a staff. Some promises should not be kept.
What are some examples of kindness?
Complimenting someone, giving someone a high five, sharing, telling someone how much they mean to you
Where should we keep our hands during a disagreement?
To ourselves.
Consent or Not Consent: If a person asks you for a hug and you say yes. Do they have consent?
YES!
You see a new resident at Day Program sitting alone. What should you do?
T/F: I should be kind to my peers everyday.
If you're friend is getting aggressive during your disagreement, what should you do?
Walk away! You can't de-escalate at that point. Your safety is very important.

No. Consent needs to be clearly given by outright saying yes to their question.
One of your friends is bullying another resident. What should you do?
Ask them nicely to stop, try and comfort the other resident, or get a trusted staff.

False! You can show kindness to everyone, they don't just have to be your friend.
When you no longer know what to do during a disagreement, what should you do?
Confide in staff so that we can guide you as best as we can.
Do you have consent if you scared someone into saying yes to you.
No. Consent should not be forced. Even though the person says yes, that doesn't actually mean you got consent.
One resident who is having a behavior accidentally hits you while they're crying and staff is attempting to calm them down. What should you do?
Walk away from the situation and talk about it to a trusted staff

Try and see if you can talk it out, if not, give them some space. If you need too, talk your feelings out with a trusted staff member.
