What is radium and how was it used on Henrietta?

Radium is a highly radioactive element and can be extremely dangerous. Exposure over long periods of time can cause cancer. For Henrietta, radium treatments were standard procedure at the time and small glass tubes full of radium secured in fabric pouches were stitched to her cervix.

He was a major scam artist who contacted Deborah, saying that he was a lawyer and a doctor and that she should sue Hopkins for the money they should have gotten for the HeLa cells. He lied to the family and sued lots of people for very random and excessive reasons. He even sued the Lacks family for breach of contract.
