In a car, the seatbelt alarm dings continuously when you buckle up the seatbelt alarm turns off so you buckle up each time you get into the car to avoid the noise.
What is negative reinforcement?
The annoying sound goes off when you buckle up, increasing the likelihood of the person buckling up in the future.
A child forgets to do their daily chores, the parent begins to implement more chores each time they forget.
What is positive punishment?
The parent is adding more chores to decrease the likelihood of the child forgetting

What is the required amount of RBT supervision percentage?
The schedule of reinforcement that reinforces a behavior incompatible with the problem behavior.
What is DRI?
A client is doing their work, and you give them a token for their token board. The client continues the work and gets all of their tokens.
What is positive reinforcement.
A client is protesting in the hallway as a way to avoid work in their DTT room. The BT begins to run DTT trials while in the hallway with the client. The client has a decrease in protest duration during transitions to the DTT room.

The BT added DTT work in the hallway to decrease the likelyhood of the client protesting.

What is SD?
Alexa is playing music in the gym, and the client gets distracted listening to Alexa. You turn off the Alexa to increase the client's engagement with the targets you are running.

Two siblings are fighting over a game, the BT removes the game when the children fight, over time the children stop fighting over the game.
What is negative punishment?
The BT removed an item to decrease the likelihood of the clients fighting over a game in the future.
