In a car, the seatbelt alarm dings continuously when you buckle up the seatbelt alarm turns off so you buckle up each time you get into the car to avoid the noise.

The annoying sound goes off when you buckle up, increasing the likelihood of the person buckling up in the future.
A child forgets to do their daily chores, the parent begins to implement more chores each time they forget.
