What is Mr Goodbar. "Mr. Goodbar" is another Hershey's original, which began production in 1925. The company allegedly did not want the Hershey name to be associated with a candybar that contained peanuts, so the bar was initially marked as being produced by the Chocolate Sales Corporation. Eventually, they came around and the bar appeared with the Hershey label. In 1992, a new formula was introduced adding even MORE peanuts to the mix. The candy is another of the Hershey group that is commonly seen in the miniature version, as well as a full sized bar.

What is Heath Bar. The "Heath" bar was a creation of Bayard and Everett Heath, two brothers from Illinois, who had a confectionery shop there. They began producing "Heath" bars locally in 1928. In 1931 they joined with their father who had a dairy business, and began distribution of the candies along with the orders for milk to be delivered to customer's homes. So with your delivery of milk, butter and eggs, you could also get candy bars. The candy became so popular that it was included in rations packages for soldiers during World War II. The candy bar continued to flourish, and this candy bar came to the Hershey empire in 1996 when Hershey Corp. acquired it via Leaf Inc., the company that owned the rights at the time.

Again, through a number of corporate sales, the "Jolly Rancher" name ended up with Leaf Inc. which was sold to Hershey in 1996. The "Jolly Rancher" name since has expanded to fruit chews and jelly beans in addition to the popular hard candies. The line is no longer manufactured in Colorado. Production stopped there in 2002.
