These set of skills will help me to succeed in high school when it comes to my time, goals, studying, and testing.
What's the purpose of time management, goal-setting, studying skills, and test-taking skills?
You can start searching for more job options now that you are probably 18 years old and you can start adding job experience to this specific document that you will carry with you for the rest of your "working life".
What is a resume?
This year in high school, you can officially begin taking honors, AP, and/or more advanced classes.
What can I start during sophomore year?
Familiarize yourself with these groups of people who gather for an occasion or purpose during break times (lunch) or after school.
What are clubs and sports teams?
This an option if you don't go to college/university which is still an institution where you learn and practice specific skills for specific jobs.
What is trade school?
This year is when high schoolers start to prepare and sign up for these two particular tests that are often required in the college admission applications.
What is the SAT and ACT?
Around this time of your high school years, there's a fun event where you go with friends and/or a date. It's not that serious either, its just a fun time!
What is junior and senior prom?
At this point, you should or soon will be getting this form of identification that shows you are eligible to be driving on the streets.
What is a driver's license?
Trusting and fostering a good relationship with your teachers/mentors in high school will not only be great for when you want to connect with them in the future, but also for another essential part of your college applications and even jobs.
What is a letter of recommendation or reference?
This certificate is earned once you've completed all of your required courses and credits in high school.
What is a high school diploma?
You can legally open this type of account at 18 years old all by yourself without a parent or guardian.
