What if the data entered into eligibility tools isn't accurate, and students who are eligible don't receive a message about their eligibility for direct CSU admission?
High school seniors who are not flagged as eligible should receive a different message, encouraging them to explore their eligibility tools on the platform and develop their plan for life after graduation. This message should be written to reflect the awareness that due to the known gaps with eligibility tools, the student may well be fully eligible for admission consideration upon application to the CSU. That is, we aren’t assuming ineligibility but instead unknown eligibility.
What is the first CSU strategy listed in the 2023 Higher Ed Strategy document?
Partner with the CSUCO to ensure that all 23 of its campuses have a fully articulated business process to accept CCGI-produced final transcripts for students from partner high schools which submit graduation files on time, including automation for those which are fully CMP-validated, by 2024
Integration IIb is:
What is the addition of a-g course and grade data to the integration effective fall 2024 for the fall 2025 application cycle
With such a big question mark around dual-enrollment courses, what is one of our strategies to enable the identification of dual-enrollment students?
CCGI will work with the CCCCO to add five additional data elements to the existing payload, enabling identification of dual enrollment students:
Elements: Term Start Date, Term End Date, Term Description, Student Enroll Status and High School Education Level
The CSUs that students will qualify for admission (i.e. All CSUs? Or?
Non-impacted CSU campuses and majors
Will districts need to send transcripts?
We have a clear statement in the CA High School Transcript and Student Record Portability Standard that notes institutions should not deny a student or revoke admission on the basis of the information provided from CCGI, but should instead request a traditional transcript to ensure complete review
What is the CSUCO's stance on CCGI provide transcript data?
CSUCO has confirmed and stated to its campuses that it accepts CCGI-provided data as official
Integration III is?
Pilot the provision of final digital high school transcripts to the University of California Office of the President (UCOP) effective summer 2025 for the fall 2025 application cycle
What are the two elements of CCGI's two pronged approach to sharing data with campuses directly?
In the near term, pilot direct data sharing with five colleges by summer 2024
In the medium term, develop a strategy that scales systemwide (possibilities include with the application or via an API)
