How do you treat for shock?

Make sure the airway is clear, control bleeding and treat serious injuries. Get the person to lie down if they don't have head, neck, or back injuries. If they don't have hip or leg fractures, raise feet 12 inches above the ground to let blood flow. Cover the victim with jacket/sleeping bags to keep them warm.
