If my smoke alarm keeps going off when I am trying to cook, should I take the batteries out?
NO! Simply clear away the smoke from the detector. NEVER take out the batteries, or it won't be able to alert you of a fire!
What should I do if I notice that one of my plugs doesn't fit right into the outlet and I have to jam it in for it to fit?
DO NOT use that plug in that outlet anymore. If it doesn't fit right it could cause an electrical hazard.

A peephole is a tiny window on your door that can allow you to see who is at the door before you open it.
It can prevent a home invasion by letting you see who is at the door so that you don't let someone inside that you don't want.

If you see exposed wires through the cord, it is unsafe to use.

Because nearly 25% of burglaries occur from people breaking in through windows.
