What is open-minded?
Students can improve their thinking, research, social, communication, and self-management skills.
What are the approaches to learning (ATLs)?
Goals should be written in the most simplistic manner possible
What is specific?
Develop this to increase your belief in your talents and your ability to be successful
What is self-Efficacy?
you can use different colors of these to highlight notes or texts in a book
What are highlighters?
We thoughtfully consider the world and our own ideas and experience. We work to understand our strengths and weaknesses in order to support our learning and personal development.
What is reflective?
Learn this will give students the information on which they will think
What are research skills?
Goals must be this so tangible evidence can be presented along the way.
What is measurable?
Spend as much time as possible with them, they will support you, uplift you, and make you feel good about yourself and what you’re doing with your life.
What are supportive people?
this area should be quiet and free from distractions
What is a place to study?
We understand the importance of balancing different aspects of our lives intellectual, physical, and emotional to achieve well-being for ourselves and others. We recognize our interdependence with other people and with the world in which we live.
What is balanced?
Advocating for yourself, listening to others, showing respect, and building consensus
What are social skills?
Goals should be designed like good workouts that challenge but do not stress or injure.
What is achievable?
You can only do so much. Make sure you have clearly identified your most important goals.
What is realistic?
it should always be off or on silent when studying or doing homework
