You can go when you ask permission.

Zero, we should be listening to the teacher and tracking them with our eyes.
How might you lose the privilege of sitting wherever you'd like in the cafeteria?
You may be assigned a seat if you are too loud, leave a mess without cleaning, leave without permission, etc.
You know it's time to line up when Mr. Reckard calls out "fifth grade" or Mr. Lindskoog blows the whistle.
When you arrive at school, what does being responsible look like?
Being responsible upon arrival looks like being on time, ready to learn, and all personal items are put in the locker.
The hallway includes the area around your locker. Describe your locker area. How should it look?
The locker area should be neat and tidy with the locker door closed.
When can you leave the classroom?
You may leave when you ask permission.
What is the share table?
It is a place to get additional food that someone left because they were not going to eat it.
Here is a scenario: Someone is on the swings for a very long time and you'd like a turn. What should you do?
To get a turn, you should politely ask for a chance to use the swings.
Where do you go in our classroom when you might need a break?
If you need a break, you go to the chairs in the corner.
You see some student work on the floor in the hallway, what should you do?
How should we treat the people, the materials, and ideas of others in the classroom.
We should treat those things with respect.
When may you leave your table in the cafeteria?
You may leave if you have adult permission.
Here's a scenario: You are playing football and you claim your team made a touchdown, but the other team disagrees. What should you do?
To settle this conflict, you should resolve things peacefully and only seek adult help if needed.
What will happen if you talk while the teacher or another student is talking?
If you talk over someone else, you may receive
1. a verbal warning or cue to stop.

Students.
How do you get an adult's attention in the cafeteria?
You get an adult's attention by raising your hand.
You just brought the football to recess, but now you decided to play foursquare instead. What should you do about the football?
The football should go back into the bag for someone else to use.
What do the letters STAR reference when we talk about STAR students?
S means sit up and stay engaged.
T means track the speaker and show your classmate that their ideas matter.
A means appreciate your classmates' ideas by nodding and smiling while they speak.
R means rephrase the words of the person who spoke before so they know you were listening.
