No you must already be in arrears or you can apply for a loan to cover the first and last months rent when moving into a new place

Once a month, if you have not logged on in three months your membership will be placed in a hold box. If this does happen you can contact our RENT liaison.

When can the Rent Bank Worker helping me with my application call my landlord?
The worker must call your landlord to confirm rental arrears and not for any other reason

What happens if you do not move out after your landlord gives you an eviction notice?
Your landlord will then apply to the Landlord and Tenant Board for an eviction order. You will then be given a date, time and place to ensure your attendance at the board hearing. At this hearing a board will listen to your case as to why you should not be evicted
