How does growth, nutrition, and excretion help a living thing to survive?

In order for them to get smarter and wiser they would need to grow. In order for them to grow they would need to get nutrition. In order to stay healthy it would need to excrete their waste.

How does a plant cell help a plant to survive?

A plant cell is what makes the plant, there for a plant cell can help a plant with all of its functions.

Why is the pistil important for a flower's survival.

The pistil helps the flower by making a ovary and ovule to make a fruit to protect seeds to repopulate.

Why is photosynthesis important for a plant and what lab referenced this topic?

Photosynthesis is important for a plant because it makes food for itself with glucose and makes another reactant for another reaction. The way photosynthesis is made is by the plant takes in carbon dioxide (Co2), water (H2O), and sunlight. Then glucose and oxygen is made. The lab referenced this topic was the floating leaf lab.

How can sensitivity help a living thing to survive?

In order to survive they would need to know when something important happened so they can adapt from it and survive.

Why does a plant cell have a cell wall?

The cell wall makes it so that when a plant cell reproduces and stacks up the cell wall can support it so the cells can keep stacking.

How can the stigma help a plant survive.

The stigma helps a plant to survive by creating pollen for pollinators to collect. They also can hydrate the flower, this way it can help make the fruit.

Why is cellular respiration important for a plant and what lab referenced this topic?

Cellular respiration is important because it makes energy for the plant. The way the plant make it is by breaking down glucose and oxygen to make ATP energy. The lab that referenced this topic was the fireball lab.

How can movement and respiration help a living thing to survive?

For some living things you would need to move to get food. For others you would move to repopulate. In order to move you would need to do respiration to get energy to move.

How can cells reproduce with asexual reproduction to make more cells?

First a cells chromosomes need to make an exact copy of itself in the nucleus. Then the chromosomes coil together and the nucleus is gone. Next the chromosomes move to the middle of the cell. After that the chromosomes are pulled apart and making their own nuclei. Lastly the cell splits apart and the chromosomes uncoil.

How can roots help a tree/plant survive.

The roots helps the tree/plant by anchoring the tree/plant to avoid them blowing over in the wind.

400

How can respiration help a living thing to survive?

In order to to get the energy you need you would need to do respiration so you could get energy.

How is diffusion and osmosis helpful for a cell and what lab referenced this topic?

Diffusion and osmosis can help a cell by letting the cell get the nutrients it needs to survive and keep reproducing to make more. This is because diffusion can let stuff in and out and osmosis can let water go in and out, therefore the cell can get food and water. The lab that referenced this topic was the potato lab.

How can the sepal of the plant help a plant to survive.

The sepal helps the plant by holding up the peddle so the flower can grow.

500

How can reproduction help a living thing to survive?

You would need to reproduce so then you could have more of your species so you won't die out.

500

How can the receptacle help a plant grow?

The receptacle is were all of the organs of the flower is held so the flower can grow.

How does an acorn become a massive oak tree?

First when the acorn is in the ground the cells inside of gets nutrients because of diffusion and osmosis. Then they grow and eventuality mitosis will start so more cells are made, but because there's no room the cells stack upward. Then the cell wall supports the stacking cells and leafs are starting to grow. Because of the chlorophyll in the leafs, they are green. After that roots will start to grow to keep the tree on the ground. Once the tree has grown a bit it will a make a long tube called the xylem which will help the whole tree to get nutrients. To make food the tree will photosynthesize. Then to get energy the tree will do cellular respiration. Then more leaves start to branch out and will begin to make more fruit, to do this the male and female parts of the plant will make the ovary in the female into a fruit to protect the seeds for future trees. Once this is done the process started all over again.
