Yes! Birthday PTO can be used whenever you would like, but it must be scheduled. Birthday PTO does not roll over from year to year.

I want to take June 2nd-6th off. I only have 16 hours of time saved up (including personal time, PTO, and birthday PTO). I am sick today and need to call off. Can I take unpaid time today so that I have enough time to cover my vacation in June?

No. In most cases, unpaid time can only be used once all other time has been utilized.

Yes, a lunch is still required. This employee was out of work for 45 minutes, and so they will still get a 1 hour lunch.
