A man traveling is robbed, beaten, and left for dead. A priest walks by the man, and crosses to the other side. A Levite does the same. Finally, a Samaritan man approaches the man, pours wine and oil over his wounds, puts him on his animal, and takes him to the inn. He pays the innkeeper and promises to pay any further expenses. He showed what it means to truly be a neighbour.
