CULT: Enforce compliance. Exploit spiritual needs (take advantage of strong beliefs). Discourages questions and independent critical thinking. Cults split your “self” into a “good” and “bad” version. A member is “unaware” of their transformation. Money collected as a means to obtain power or serve selfish means of the leader. View family as the enemy that “doesn’t understand”
