What is stratified sampling?
To use this method, the researcher first needs to break the population into ‘strata’ groups or divisions based on one particular characteristic or feature, such as education, income level, age or gender.
A stratified sample is then obtained by selecting a simple random sample from each of these groups. The simple random sample can also be based on a proportion of the people in each group.

Smartphones have had a huge impact on the political wellbeing in society. This can be seen through the need to introduce smartphone specific laws. There has also been an increase in sharing of information that gives people the power of knowledge on societal issues, keeping in mind that not all news is factual.
