This is the minimum GPA to be in good academic standing.

This App can help connect you with your Academic Advisor, allowing you to communicate with them or schedule an appointment with them.
What is Navigate?
This office maintains your academic records, and can help you file for graduation, request official transcripts, or evaluate transfer credits.
What is the Registrar's office?
Full-time students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and no grades of F in the current semester are eligible for this.
What is the Deans List?
In any semester, students who fail to meet the College’s minimum academic standards will be placed on this, and may be required to take a reduced load.
What is Academic Probation?
This is the place on the college website where you can find a list of all the majors HCCC has to offer, and click through them to learn more about each major.

This service can get you extra help in many of your academic subjects.
What is Tutorial Services?
This is the lowest grade you can get in all of your classes if you want your cumulative GPA to be 4.0.
What is an A?
You can register for classes, drop your classes, or make changes to your classes on Liberty Link until the Add or Drop Deadline for the term, which is published in this.
What is the Refund and Academic Calendar?
If a student fails to meet satisfactory academic progress (SAP) for two consecutive semesters, this will happen. The student must then sit out one full fall or spring semester before returning to the College (on academic probation).
What is Academic Suspension?
At the Journal Square campus, the Academic Advisement office is located here.
What is the Second Floor of the A building (70 Sip)?
This office can help you with resume writing, transferring to other schools, or career counseling.
What is the Office of Career and Transfer Pathways?
A three credit course like Eng-101 counts this many times more than a one credit course like CSS-100 counts in your GPA.
What is three times as much?
After the Drop date has passed, if you wish to officially stop taking the course, you can fill out the form to request this, and if approved you will earn a grade of W in the course.
What is a Withdrawal?
Students will be academically dismissed for failing to maintain satisfactory academic progress after returning from suspension. Students who have been dismissed may not return to the college for this many years.
What is 3?
If you do not know who your Academic Advisor is, you can use these apps to look up the name of your Academic Advisor.
