Why do some people have blurry vision?
Some people have blurry vision because their eyeball is too short or long
If you tried to use your eye model at night, what do you think will happen?
The eye model won't work as ell because there won't be as much light to illuminate objects
Why does it looks like you have a hole in your hand when you try the hole in hand illusion?
One eye sees a hole and the other eye sees your hand. Your brain combines the two.
Why is dissection useful for learning how the body works?
dissection lets us look inside and see what's really going on

Your movement nerves connect to your muscles. Your sensory nerves connect to your senses.
How do biceps move your lower arm?
Arm bone gets pulled, and the muscle shortens and bulges
What would happen if your cornea lens were cloudy instead of clear? What would you see?
You would not be able to see well, it would get blurry. You would only be able to tell light from dark.
Why do some animals have small pupils and other animals have large pupils?
Animals that are nocturnal have large pupils because they are more active at night. Animals with smaller pupils are more active during the day.
In what way do our eyes and brain communicate?
Eye sends a message to the brain, the brain makes a decision, the brain sends a message to the movement nerves.
Would you be able to move if you didn't have bones?
Your bones are the structure of your body, without the you would just be a lump of skin and bones

Why does your pupil get larger when the room is dark?
Your pupil gets larger so that more light can enter your eye so you can see better in the dark
What happens in your brain when you see a penny on the ground?

What would happen to our muscles if our bones disappeared?
Muscles and bones work together to give us strength. Without bones the muscles wouldn't work and we would not be very strong.
Think back to the eye model we made. When we held our eye model at a certain distance, the image became blurry and fuzzy. What did we do to make the image crisp and clear?
Change the distance between the retina and the cornea lens
Why does it look like people have red eyes when their picture is taken using a camera's flash?
It looks red because people have blood at the back of their eye.
What happens to a human when a cat starts purring, versus when a mouse starts purring?
