What evaluation score did Peeta and Katniss earn? What did the score mean for her?

Peeta: 8   Katniss: 11

Acceptable answers: people are more likely to sponsor her, other tributes know she has skill and respond accordingly, and Snow did not like Crane's decision and is now more skeptical of her.

Explain the dynamic between the Capitol and the Districts.

Possible Answers:

The Capitol has all the power and resources, as the Districts do not.

The Capitol is focused on luxury, as the Districts are focused on survival.

The Districts each have their own industry, which powers the Capitol.

The people of the Capitol do not treat the District people well.

As burning coal, which is representative of their mining industry.

400

What flashback did we see involving Peeta and Katniss, AND what was significant about this?

Katniss was on the brink of death. Peeta purposefully burnt bread and took a beating, so that he could give the bread to Katniss. This saved her life and made it so she could continue to provide for her family.

400

What act do Katniss and Peeta have to put on now that the Games have ended?

The Star-Crossed Lovers. An act to show that the choices they made in the Games were out of love, not out of rebellion.

400

What plan did Katniss come up with at the end of the games AND why was this significant?

The plan was for Katniss and Peeta to both die by eating the poison berries.
