What is the reason Gon wants to become a hunter?
In order to find his dad. He wants to know why his dad left him when he was born to become a hunter.

The king's royal guards. They would put down their lives in order to protect the king.
Did Gon pass the Hunter Exam?
Yes, the Hunter Exam is an extremely hard test. It pushes your physical and mental ability to the limits. It is not uncommon for multiple people to die during the exam.
Did Gon find his dad?
Yes, he found his dad in a room filled with professional hunters.
What happens during the first stage of the Hunter Exam?
The examiner tell everyone to follow him to the next stage. Everyone thinks that they would follow him for a few miles, but they actually ran for a few hundred miles nonstop.
Who is Killua?
Killua is Gon's best friend and an assassin from a very famous family. (The Zoldyck Family)
What group of people made the York New Action be very dangerous?
The Phantom Troup. A deadly group that steals what they want and kills anyone that gets in their way.
During the Heavens Arena arc what did Gon and Killua need to do in order to get past the 200th floor? Also who would not let them pass unless they learned nen?
They had to learn nen. This in a very important part of the book, because the rest of the book is based on this nen power. Hisoka who them met in the Hunter Exam would not let them pass unless they learned nen.
Did they beat the Chimera Ants?
Yes, but it was after hundreds of casualties soldiers, and the innocent.
What is Heaven's arena and why did Gon and Killua go to it?
Heaven's Arena is a place where you earn money if you win a spectated fight. If you win a fight on one floor you advance to the next floor. Each floor has a larger cash prize for winning. They went to Heaven's Arena so that they could earn money and get stronger.
Who are the people that Gon meets and stays friends with during the Hunter Exam?
Killua, Leorio, and Kurapika. He met them during the Hunter Exam and meet up with them later in the story (Killua stays with Gon the whole time).
What makes Gon's search for his dad the hardest?
The fact that his dad did not want to be found so he did everything he could to stay hidden.
Which arc of the book took up the most pages?

What was the main sacrifice that happened in order to beat the Chimera Ants.
Netero was the main sacrafice. He was the strongest hunter and he gave his life fighting the king so that they could win. The sacrifices of all the soldiers and innocent were huge also.

Greed Island is a game where you get transported inside the game and have to collect 100 different types of cards in order to win.
Who wants to be a doctor and a hunter, why?
Leorio, the reason that he wants to be a doctor and hunter is so that he can get lots of money. Sounds greedy but he has a backstory on it. His childhood friend got very sick and died from a easily curable disease because Leorio did not have enough money to pay for his medical bills.
During the 3rd stage of the hunter exam, what was the hard decision at the end? What one did they choose?
They only had 15 minutes to finish the exam. There were 5 of them and they had to make a choice on what path to take. The long and difficult path which took 8 hours or the short and easy path which took 25 seconds. The long and difficult path could take 5 people and the short and easy path could only take 3 people. They chose to do the long and difficult path then break a hole in the wall to the short and easy path.
Who was Kite and what happened to him during the Chimera Ant arc?
Kite was Gings (Gon's dad) disciple/intern. Kite was killed by Pitou while protecting Gon and Killua.
How did Gon recover from the nen contract that he made?
Killua's little sister. If you do 3 things that she wants he nen ability activates. She can grant any wish you can think of. She healed Gon and saved his life.
Who are the 2 strongest characters? Who wins in their fight?
The Chimera Ant king, Meruem. The 2nd strongest is the Hunter Program Chairman, Netero. Meruem win the fight. However, Netero had a trick up his sleeve which almost made it a tie. Once Netero's heart stoped a very small but very powerful bomb would explode decimating everything in a few miles radius. This would have worked if Meruem's servernt did not heal him in time.
What is the name of Gon's dads friend that challenged Gon to a Volleyball match?
Razor, Ging (Gons dad) was very good friends with Razor. Ging told Razor that one day his son would come and he wanted Razor to challenge him and not hold back.
Why did Killua always run away whenever he was not sure that he could beat his opponent?
Killua's brother Illumi placed a needle into his brain which forced him to run or else it would cause him great pain. Killua overcame this by pulling the needle out in the middle of a fight.
How did Gon beat Pitou?
Gon made a nen contract while he was filled with rage. The contract said that he would transform into a form of himself at his strongest during his life. The downside was that he would never be able to use nen again and that it would take most of his life away from him.
How did gon resolve all of his rage from Pitou killing Kite?
He made nen contract that gave him all the power that he would ever have in his lifetime at the cost of most of his lifespan. He did this so that he could get his revenge on Pitou.
