Adjust the termination temperature below what the current controlling sensor is reading for that circuit, and change it back it parameters once the defrost has been confirmed to have been terminated.
What does it mean when a module shows "Down" and highlighted yellow? (Opus)
This module is in comm loss
What does "Not Present" mean for an NCH-1000 breaker?
This means the breaker is not communicating and will not function with the schedule or remote commands.
What does a performance alert mean for an RTU? (Opus)
This means there is an issue with the unit and most likely will show an active alarm in the alarm tab for the unit.
Defrost points should be set to closed or open contacts?
Defrosts should be set to Open
How do you attempt to reset a module for stale data/comm loss in Opus?
Change the module to False, ping the device three times and return the module to True when finished
What does a faulted NCH-1000 breaker mean?
This means the breaker is stuck either on or off and will not change its status until the fault has been cleared.
What does a MOD MAINT OVERRIDE mean in Novar?
This means the toggle switch for this asset is not in the auto position and being forced on site.
In Danfoss 800s, what is the difference when staging with unloaders?
These are loaders in Danfoss 880s and will add MBTU/HP to your staging instead of reducing it as it normally does for other EMS systems.
How much VAC should a Lingo XE receive on the power terminals?
24 VAC
If a store has had a power outage and says the lights in the parking lot will not turn off, what should be the first thing you check?
Check the astronomical clock and be sure they are aligned. The clocks not being aligned can cause the lighting to be stuck on/off since it will not know what the accurate time is. This is pretty typical to happen in Novar when a store loses power.
What does it mean when the auxiliary sensor is higher than the zone sensor with an active cooling stage?
This means the unit is not properly cooling and supplying warmer air than it should be and needs service. Possibly a sensor issue. A setpoint adjustment will not fix this.
What should we do when we receive a request for a staging issue in Copeland/CPC?
This will have to be addressed by Copeland support since we can not adjust staging in CPC.
Does a cabling ticket need to be made when all RTUs are showing in comm loss?
No, this would not be a cabling ticket. This could mean there is a possible daisy chain issue with the wiring, a problem with the transition board, or an addressing issue.
Who should you include when you change the exterior lighting schedules in Novar when responding to the email?
Include Jacob and BPC email to the chain to have the changes be made permanent. Otherwise, this will revert back on Sunday when IoT automatically updates the schedules.
How do we access an XCM10 controller in Opus to view AHUs?
You will have to open a new station connection with the EMS link (ems09.s0XXXX.us.wal-mart.com) and login with your credentials.
What does it mean when all of the compressors on a rack are calling to be off, and you noticed the discharge pressure went into alarm above 350 psi the same day?
This means the rack locked out on high head pressure (a safety mechanism) and the high pressure lockout will need to be reset before the compressors will run.
What should the Vlan for most controllers be set to in a port?
Vlan should be set to 20 for most controllers
What will a Phase Loss alarm do to the lighting?
Phase loss will force all of the exterior lighting on and shut off all of the RTUs.
