Explain what root plannings are?

  • You have an infection below your gums that needs to be removed to prevent irreversible bone loss. The numbing liquid used will allow the hygienist to remove the infection and keep you comfortable. After the infection is removed healing can begin.

What is the difference between Periomed and Peridex?

Peridex- for gum inflammation

Short term use only. Kills all bacteria good and bad. 

Periomed- Fluoride for the teeth

Long term use. Kills only bad bacteria and leaves the good.
