Who is an affiliated student?
The process a family goes through to join and become part of Common Hope.
What is affiliation?
A student in the program but without a scholarship or sponsor.
What is an affiliate student?
The reasoning behind why a program's activities will reach its goals.
What is Program Theory?
A temporary hold on a student’s sponsorship while something is being resolved.
What is a restriction?
I’m a learner in the program with both financial and emotional backing from a dedicated supporter.
Who is a sponsored student?
A family that formally joins Common Hope and signs an annual agreement.
What is an affiliated family?
An adult student over 18 without a scholarship or sponsor.
What is an adult affiliated student?
A flowchart or diagram that shows how one result leads to the next.
What is a logic model?
Pausing a student’s benefits due to a situation like illness or pregnancy.
What is maintenance or freezing of scholarship?
I’m a student in the program, ready to be matched with a sponsor, but no one has been assigned to me yet.
Who is a sponsorable student (apadrinable)?
The person who represents the family, gives permissions, and ensures commitments are met.
Who is the affiliate responsible? (Head of House)
A student receiving school supplies, fees, and more.
What is a scholarship holder?
The system that checks if a program is working and what can be improved.
What is MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning)?
A way to group families based on their needs and challenges.
What is family classification?
I am the one who recommends the best plan of action for a family or a sponsored student.
Who is the social worker?
When a child or youth leaves the organization and no longer gets benefits or services.
What is disaffiliated?
A person who had a scholarship but lost it by not meeting the requirements.
What is a former scholarship holder (exbecado)?
A statement showing how action leads to change, typically two phrases separated by a comma.
What is an if…then statement?
Support given to people outside the program in the community.
What is social projection?
