What Chapter
The wicked sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, and the elders of Israel bring the Ark of the Lord into battle with the Philistines in hope it will insure their victory. The Philistines defeat Israel and capture the Ark of God. Eli's sons are killed in battle, Eli dies, and Phineshas' wife bears a son whom she names Ichabod before her death.
