Hi Friends,
Just a quick update - the Medivator is working now. I ran a test scope, and it passed without issues. If anything comes up today, please let me know. We suspect the storm on Saturday caused the power to flicker, which may have triggered the issue (my power went out too, and I live nearby). Just keep me posted if something happens, please. Thank you all. I will also check in there through out the day today. Also...... until we have a better long-term solution in place, could we rotate responsibility for checking the ENT to-go bags on our designated cleaning days? Just take a moment to check the third cabinet (top shelf) to ensure that the nosebleed kits, PTA kits, and other essential supplies are stocked. It would be helpful if we could confirm there are several kits available before we leave the clinic for the day. This way, the PA'S can grab what they need without having to track down supplies/instruments...... At the moment, many of the kits will likely be missing key instruments like Kelly clamps.... etc.... I'm currently waiting on approval to order more. If we could just write on the bags for now, what it is missing with permanent marker and a location on where to find said supplies/who to ask.....etc...... Also..... I think in general we need to show them where everything is and where the instruments are located until I can get approval to order more and the order physically is delivered (which shouldn't be long, I have an order I am about to place. I just need approval to add to it) but they should also be made aware of location of supplies and how to access it.... ? So for now, please write on the Go-Bags, what is missing from it with a permanent marker......and how to access said missing supplies. We can also put a sign inside the door.... stating whats there, what needs to be in it and how to access/find the supplies. I really didn't want to send a message like this because it is long and frustrating.
