What should you expect to do in art class?

Your voice should be off.

Properly - the way they were meant to be used.  For art making purposes.

Student should hold up hand with either a 1 or crossed fingers for the bathroom.

Art gets messy.  How do you wash your hands and your work space?

With a baby wipe.  First my hands, then the table.

What should you do after entering the art room?

Leave my bookbag against the wall, get my sketchbook, and find my seat.

When is it okay to leave your seat during art class?

Only when I am bringing my art to the drying rack.

How many pieces of art paper do you get for a project?

One

What does the "A" in ART rules stand for?

Aim to always do my best.

What do I do when I'm finished with my project and it's on the dry rack already. 

I work in my art sketchbook/journal.  (Just one page per class period)

Respectfully and only for art making.

Where to pencils, erasers, scissors, and glue sticks belong in the art room?

In the blue caddy.

Respect yourself, others, and the art room.

What do you do with the chair at the end of class. 

Morning classes - I push it in.


Afternoon class - I put it on top of the table.

When I say "Mona" and you answer "Lisa" what is the expectation? 

Mouths closed, eyes on the speaker, and your hands are still (not working).

What should you do when there is a tray full of supplies on your table at the start of class?

I can only look at them and wait for direction from Mrs. D.

What does the "T" in ART rules stand for?

Think like and artist and trust the process

Where does my finished art work go?  Wet and dry?

Wet art goes on the dry rack.  Dry art goes into the class box.

What do I do when I get to my seat?

Do the art start that is on the TV using a pencil and my sketchbook.

Finish the callback "Red, Yellow , Blue..." And what should you do after it is said?

Say "Eyes on you" and look at Mrs. D.

What are some things you can do if you make a mistake on your paper?  

1. Make a mistake into a masterpiece

2. Use your eraser

3. Flip it on the back

4. Ask Mrs. D or a friend for help.

Where can you get brushes, sharpies, water containers, tissues, paper towels, and larger scissors if you need them?

On the large black art cart.

Where do may dirty paint brushes go?

Into the hot tub - brush heads down.
