This Indigenous ethic helps us understand that everyone is related and we are all family. This helps to minimize the difference between people and look beyond the stereotypes we have.

This stereotype is inaccurate because Native Americans aren't going anywhere. They endured systematic genocide but Native American culture and communities remain strong and growing.
