In Romeo and Juliet, Romeo often speaks poetically about the nature of love and it's mysteries. Some of the poetry is very beautiful and heartfelt. He boldly professes love and yet his friends laugh at him, Friar Laurence scolds him for being shallow and even the Nurse tells Juliet not to marry him.
