Another reason to use infinitives of purpose
Hint: we don't need to include 'going to' for this one
To explain why we are doing something
I went to the hospital...(infinitive of purpose)
*Seeing a doctor
I went to the hospital to see a doctor.
Why might someone travel by bus instead of car?
Someone might travel by bus instead of car to save money.
Store + buy snacks
I'm going to the supermarket to buy snacks.
Watch a movie
I'm going to watch a movie to....

I bought food at the supermarket to make dinner.
Why do people have birthday parties?
People have birthday parties to celebrate.
